This agreement applies to all Earth to Fire studio memberships.
Earth to Fire Pottery Studio – Membership Agreement
Please read carefully before signing up.
Acknowledgement of Risk
☐ I understand that participation in pottery and ceramics activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to burns, cuts, falls, dust inhalation, chemical exposure, and contact with hot or moving equipment.
☐ I voluntarily accept these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Earth to Fire.
☐ I understand that nothing in this agreement limits my rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Limitation of Liability
☐ I acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, Earth to Fire is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation, except where caused by the negligence of the studio or its staff.
☐ I understand that Earth to Fire is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, my personal property.
Membership Fees
☐ I understand that membership fees are payable monthly in advance by automatic payment.
☐ I understand that failure to maintain payment may result in suspension or cancellation of my membership.
☐ I understand that no refunds are provided for unused time or failure to cancel prior to renewal.
Studio Rules and Conduct
☐ I agree to:
use only approved equipment and materials
clean my workspace and shared areas after use
follow all posted studio rules and health and safety instructions
respect staff, other members, and studio property
☐ I understand that repeated breaches of studio rules may result in suspension or cancellation of my membership.
Damage to Work
☐ I understand that pottery work may be damaged during handling or firing and that Earth to Fire is not responsible for damage caused by kiln issues, accidents, or handling by others.
Termination
☐ I understand that Earth to Fire may suspend or cancel my membership for rule breaches, unsafe or disruptive behaviour, or non-payment, and that no refund is payable in these circumstances.
Minors
☐ If the participant is under 18, I confirm that I am their parent or legal guardian and agree to these terms on their behalf.
Governing Law
☐ I understand that this agreement is governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia, and that any disputes will be resolved in Tasmania.
Final Agreement
☐ I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Earth to Fire Membership Agreement.
